www.myrealbox.com (most reliable)

www.lycos.co.uk (very good)

www.hotbox.com (not as reliable as the above 2)

and www.yahoo.com, if you subscribe to their $20 a year e-mail plan.

You now owe me a share of 20 ISP's and 4 hours of research to find the best answers to this question (I did this last month).

@jeffharris
myrealbox ONLY supports authenticated SMTP. they're very strict with spamming and the like

Well, I just used myrealbox this morning. And use it almost every day, from the US, and around Europe, to e-mail attached communicam MCA-20 files. It works fine from my T68i, using Voicestream, and, Ericsson WAP dial in, when I was in Europe last week.

And yes, Yahoo is authenticated, but, I read in the newsgroups, if you are a subscriber, for the $20 a year or something, that restriction is lifted. I cannot confirm this, as there is no need to subscribe until myrealbox and the lycos.co.uk don't work any more (PS- Lycos.com, the US site, DOES require authentication).

Just setup an account for POP3 to myrealbox.com and it works on the t68i no authentication required.

I'm on T-Mobile

No need to subscribe to any expensive email account. I'm using my own notebook as SMTP server. All you need to do is download a shareware called "Advanced SMTP Server version 2.3" available from http:// www.softstack.com .

You can use it to sent spam mail, if you wish
