hello there. i have just got through the first day of useing my k700i (got it yesterday evening). im about to charge it. which doesnt bother me...it had a full day of heavy use. well my question is has anyone ever showed off their phone?? i did today. i am a senior in high school. i was in english and these people were trying to send text messages over their crappy nokia phones (no offense but they were non color screen prepaid basic phones...eww in my opinion lol). anyway none of them were getting a signal. so i pulled out my k7010i to see the time and this chic asked if she could see my phone to send a text. im generally a nice guy so i said ok. so she did. seeing as i had a nice almost full bar of signal. oh yea. lol. then a whole group was amazed at how the phone looked and all the stuff it could do. the k700i is so much better than my t610. which one of my friends said looked like an ice cream sandwich, lol. the gaming is awesome. i played splinter cell and cd tennis all day during class (none of my teachers actually tought anything today). this made me happy, also it being my birthday (the 19th) it made my day.

I am glad that you are enjoying your new K700i. Playing Java games all day doesn't hurt anyone, but i noticed that you do not know how to spell. May i suggest then that you set aside some time for studies? Your hardworking classmates with black and white phones will become CEOs one day and you... This message was posted from a Nokia

i know i cant spell. i have never been good at spelling. and the others becoming CEO's is doubtful in my opinion. sure nuthing is impossable but there the kids who always cause trouble and dont do their work and interrupt class. as for me i make average and above average grades and dont cause trouble or interrupt the class.

wow! what a first post. did you join just to tell him that? he didn't do anything to you.
sorry! but i dont think that's a necessary comment. maybe & especially if English is just his second language. Even Americans makes mistakes.

It's only since Dr Johnson published his first dictionary that the idea of 'correct' spelling was even considered. Shakespeare spelled the same words in a number of different ways. Americans and Brits spell words differently. Texting and email have introduced rapid change into the way that the English language is evolving.

So... who is to say what's right and wrong these days? And who the hell gives someone the right to criticise in a forum that's about phones, not English?

Let the people speak
