Guys, just wondering I was just wondering if anyone with these handset have been able to get their firmware upgraded to a new firmware with Live on it.
Or even better
Has anyone been able to get their K700i restored to a unbranded firmware?
I have been having the biggest problem with this handset. I try to get help from Sony Ericsson and they say they cant help becausr its a Vodafone brand phone, they do not flash because the firmware is customised. But they did mention that you are able to flash it with an original firmware but they do not support and if they did do it, its one of those "at your own risk" stuff.
Then I try to get help from Vodafone and they have no idea what to do. They tell me to go to Sony Ericsson.
Grrrrrrr! I'm up to a stage when I just want to return the handset and get my money back!
I asked Vodafone for a handset replacement, asked them if it has the latest and they said "yes", get the replacement handset and its the same thing.
So has anyone been able to Flash a Live! phone and restore it to an original K700i?
Specially someone from Sydney.
BTW: accordccs.com in auburn, nsw have no idea what they are on about. they are the biggest time wasters and they do not help at all.
