Just a quickie;
Can MP3 files stored in a PC be burnt on to a CD to be played?
A chap came in to my office and asked and I don't know the answer.
I told him that I doubt it but wold try to find out.

the latest windows media player will auto convert mp3 to standard cd tracks for play on any cd player or it can burn a data cd with the actual mp3 files for play on MP3 compatible cd players

my son uses sonic stage on his vaio and although I too have a vaio with it (as does all the family actually - we love vaio's!) I still prefer the windows media player for this stuff although occassionally I have used Roxio Easy media Creator
I tried WMP v10 beta but it was so full of bugs including that I could no longer transfer licenced music to my iPAQ I removed it very quickly.
that was a couple of months ago and I haven't seen a newer beta yet

@MixiN: It is illegal to download them and burn them without the artist/record company's prior knowledge (i.e. off kazaa and the likes)
