> Unlocking K700i

I just got this great phone through my new singlepoint contract. However, I am disapointed to see all the Vodaphone rubbish that has been put on there. I have tried to find a way of unlocking this phone, but cannot find any info on the internet.
Does anyone have any ideas?

The best thing would be:
DON'T BUY A LOCKED / BRANDED PHONE !

It's not (yet) possible to unlock the K700, beside of the option to call Vodafone and pay to get it unlocked

What vodafone have done to the k700 is terrible, they have absolutely butchered it! Theres not really much you can do about it, i'm afraid.

I did not buy this phone, I got it free with a £15 per month contract, which I think is very good value.
If you say it cannot be unlocked, why does this site offer the service?

Does anyone know of any firmware upgrades avaliable now or in the future for this phone. It is mainly the firmware, and not unlocking I am worried about.

@ superstags: I wouldn't do that anyway. The more people / companies are scamping your phone, the more bugs it gets.
