i officially give up
i aquired a p900 about a fortnite ago and am trying to update my cda for the first time
my cda is 162003/5 and my current version is R4A04.According to se site ,latest software is R5B02.
i followed step by step the se guide -installed the seus1.15 .However after backup my data ,i am getting a screen saying
PLEASE WAIT...
CHECKING THE INSTALLATION OF SONY UPDATE SERVICE
From then on nothing happens,i left fone for about an hour.
did search here,tried all solutions found,but to no avail
PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I think it may be something at S.E.s end. The service was offline for a few days. It would not let you download the software. Now it lets you download it, but as you say gets stuck on the "Checking the installation of Sony Ericsson Update Service" bit. I've updated the software before a few times, so I'm quite sure that I am not doing anything wrong. Just have to try later on I suppose.
