My computer is saying that the p800 is connected but when i go to open 'My p800' on the desktop is contains the message in a thumnail picture thing, 'not connected' has anybody else had this problem or know why this is hapening and how to solve this problem

Tr rebooting your PC while your phone is not connected, then give it another try. I sometimes encounter this problem as well, and if removing, and then reconnecting the phone to the cradle does not work, I just go ahead and reboot my PC.

If that does not work try uninstalling and reinstalling. also if you have Win98SE you have to have the latest com driver Dcom98 installed. See SE website for more info. I had the same problem and had to fiddle around with it for a while until it worked

ok thanks it does connect most of the time when the computer is just turned on but then its not as reliable after the computer has been turned on for a while
