Does anyone know, about any place on the net, or any shops (in london), which are selling the SE K700 sim-free with R2L Firmware?

Much like Windows on your PC, the operating system ('firmware') of your mobile phone is upgradable. Upgrading can fix bugs, improve performance (ie. of battery life), etc.
R2L (or R2L001) is the newest firmware for the SE K700.

You need to post a copy of your passport or proof that you are really in Sweden.
R2L is the firmware that runs your phone. Something like an operating system. It is the current version of the firmware on your phone. There are many links here that can explain more in detail.

There is another thread about the r2l firmware, use search to find it.
The op asked for a place where they sell k700's with r2l.
Perhaps you can try expansys.com , email them about the firmware.

Fixes several things.
1. batterylevel meter bug is fixed - it now shows correct level
2. batteryperformance is improved (30% on my phone)
3. restarting/crashing problems are fixed
4. screen flashing is fixed
5. bluetooth improved
+ other things I cant remember right now
