Greetings All,,
I just got the K700i, it's really nice. But, the Bluetooth is kinda disappointing. I will be in a cafe where i am showered with bluetooth incoming messages, but with no name for the sender.
Is there a way to know who is sending me via BT? is this something will be solved by a new firmware????

Welcome to Esato. That's the beauty of bluejacking. Turn your bt to invisible mode and you will have no problem ;-) This message was posted from a K700i

It's not bluejacking only. I tried to send stuff (text, pictures) from other phones to my K700, they were visible, and still my phone won't show their names as the sender, even though it can recognize their names when i do bluetooth search!!!
this sucks since I will never know which phone is communicating with me in a cafe out of the 10 bluetooth phones.
Any one out there noticed that?

Yes, SE phones like the K700i dont show the Bluetooth name of who is sending things to your phone, except for when pairing, S60 Nokia phones do however.

The ability to display the names is their, so sum1 should develop an app to reveal the information we want.

@knightjt2000 - Be extra careful opening your Bluetooth Device in public places nowadays dude, you might just acquire the 'Caribe' virus which is very rampant almost around the globe !
