Hi,
I came across a local mobile store that is selling the K700 (unlocked) with 1 yr activation for $250.
Should I go for it?
I'm currently use T610 unlocked w/R6B firmware and I'm looking to upgrade to another phone.
I'm also interested in the S700, but was told it would be released next month and would cost much more.
I need answers ASAP!
Any help would be appreciated.

Go in for it. You wont find a phone having better features and in such a small package. The only glitch is its battery life which I suppose has been redressed in the new firmware.

If you seek to replace both phone and PDA at once, the P9XX would be the obvious choice. It still is quite expensive though, and some people (including yours truly) prefer two seperate devices.
As for replacing just a T6XX, with the K700 you'd get a great upgrade in display, ergonomics, camera and features with no learning curve at all.

K700 is a resasonable price, and for a nice phone.

I'm also stuck with the same desicion at the moment except, I'm in the UK. First, have u got a digital camera? If u do, then I say, go with the k700. Do u like your music on the go? Well if u do, but only a few songs, then go with the k700, if u want it to be like a mp3, then go for the s700, as it has expandable memory.
Overall, I think that you should go with the k700, it is a decent fone and has excellent features. As the s700 is gonna just come out, it will probably have so many bugs like how the k700 usedto.
So in my opinion, go for the k700,but make sure that it has the latest firmware (R2L) if it doesn't hen MAKE SURE THAT THERE IS A WAY that you can get the firmware upgraded from somewhere!

If you think that the SE S700 is quite expensive, then why not try the forthcoming release of the SE P910
! You might just experience some 'inevitables' with that of the SE K700/i model fone dude
