Morning all...

Just got back from V Chelsmford... (A Weekend music festival in the UK) was a crackin weekend.. but I lost my phone... DAMN IT. so many good pictures on there... (I WAS rolling around like a drunk fool though)

But does anyone know the process of getting a replacement from my insurance... Im with Voda, only been with them 2 months....

Do I need a incident number or something...??

Cheers then!

Sorry to hear that you lost your mobile.

You need to call then to get the number barred asap! Did you buy insurance? If not then you will have to buy a new phone and they will give you a new 12 month contract but the same number.

Hey - sorry to hear about that. If you didnt take out any insurance, I dont think it comes as standard with a Voda contract, so check out your home contents insurance - I had a Nokia 9210i replaced via house contents policy after it was stolen at a nightclub

Yeah what he said ^

But get the number barred NOW! Don't say it was stolen though, 'cos thats a criminal offence (if it wasn't).

your policy should cover loss, but i think you still need to get a reference number from the police, incase the phone is handed in. Then give the refernce number to voda when you ring them up.

But it was stolen wasn't it, he dropped it, someone picked it up and kept it! Theft! They should have handed it in at local Plod, or checked the phone book and phoned someone on the phone!

It maybe theft, but it wasn't stolen. As the person didn't take it from him, they just didn't give it back when they found it.

Well better report it at once (wherever), so the fone will be blocked (IMEI), before anyone uses it profusely and will have you to pay for the charges dude Is the fone under plan or what Have it reported as stolen and not lost, to give the authorities the attitude to move - asap with the blocking !
