i cant use my bluetooth remote on my pc it just doest conect what do i do?

What error messages do you get?
What Bluetooth dongle do you have?
What version of what operating system do you have?
What program are you trying to control?
Have you paired the phone?
Do other Bluetooth function work on your PC? Such as syncing/file transfer.

What program are you trying to control?
Is the program you are trying to control already running on your PC?
Describe exactly what steps you are taking, and exactly what happens.
It's very difficult to help with such little information.

Its probably not compatible with your dongle.
I, and many other people, cannot use the remote function with their Bluetooth dongles. Right now, i dont know of any fix for it.

You could try upgrading your Bluetooth software. The software for most BT dongles seem to be based in some way on the Widcomm stack and Remote Control requires the HID profile which is only supported from v1.4 onwards. However, Widcomm themselves don't release driver upgrades. I found the following link (I think on a thread here somewhere) which gives a comprehensive guide to updating your BT software. Did the job for me!
