I have been a loyal customer of Sony Ericsson products for years. I have had a T28, T39, T68, T300, two T610s and a P900. The second T610 I purchased is being used as a backup phone while my P900 is being repaired. I hate to say it, but I'm never buying another SE phone again.

I have had nothing but problems with the P900, the most recent of which is a screen calibration issue causing each tap on the screen to actually register about 1/4" lower than I actually tapped.

My current problem is with my T610 locking up after I send SMS. This doesn't happen each time, but it happens enough to cause me frustration and anger. This should not be happening.

Thank God the Nokia 6630 is coming out soon, because SE can kiss my ass! Later SE fans - I'm going to spend my money on phones that work the way they are designed! (I've had two Nokias, and never had ONE problem with EITHER of them.)

i've traded in my 630 for a 6230 (temporary arrangement with my friend).
its a good phone, the nokia, but somehow i thought they try to make things too perfect, but somehow its without a character of its own.
imho!!

It's all relative, imo. Some people will refuse to ever buy a Nokia again because they had one or two and were unlucky enough to get a dodgy handset on those occasions, therefore forming that opinion that Nokias 'are crap'. There are probably people who swear by Sony Ericssons, or Motorolas etc. because of that, just like someone who has a couple of bad experiences with Sony Ericssons will go to another manufacturer because of those experiences.

I've just recently got a k700 with the R2a firmware on, which a lot of people seem to have had nightmarish problems with. Apart from the odd slow moment and the rubbish batt life, I've not had a problem. I'm pleased with my phone because of the experiences I've had so far. Some others want to throw it against the wall because of all the problems they've had.

@richy - I'd say stay with Sony Ericsson, you've just had a run lately of bad luck with your phones, it can't continue. Unless of course, you've set your heart on that Nokia - and they do have some good-looking models coming out soon!

@Sammy_boy
No, my heart is with SE. Nokia just seems like a good alternative.
