> Branded K700i Users - Stop Complaining!
Bookmark topic
I'm tired of people with branded K700i phones complaining about this and that, "blah, blah, blah, boo-hoo-hoo, I'm writiing to customer service because my non-branded friends got some features I don't have." These are the types of people who spend $500 euros or dollars on a brand new car, and then expect to have power windows, air conditioning, navigation system, etc.
YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!
How much did you spend on your k700i? 10 euros with a year contract with Voda, T-mobile, Orange, whatever? Well then, you're not going to get mp3 ringtones, or options to modify the menu and shortcut, etc. The End. If you don't like it, then return the phone and cancel your contract. Pay full price for a non-branded K700i and you'll get those options.
Phone companies gave you the K700i for an extremely cheap price. They have the right to do whatever they fvcking want with the menus and navigation. You're the one who made the choice to buy a branded K700i. You came to them, they didn't come to you.
Stop crying and stop flooding this forum with your whinning. Your friend who spent $300-$400 euros/dollars for a non-branded k700i deserves to have a phone that is a little better than yours.
Peace...Sucker!!!

Dear mr magic man. You obviously know little about the mobile phone industry. The only reason they do it is to piss us off.

@magicman
What a nippy wee sweety! For your first post you have certainly invited a lot of criticism upon yourself. I'm not quite sure why the swearing was necessary, it simply makes you appear ignorant. People are perfectly entitled to complain about the branding on their phones, they are buying a product, which has been tampered with, why shouldn't they moan?
I shall finish by thanking you, your post has provided me with a few moments of entertainment. I shall now stand back and let others respond, I am sure there will be quite a few people wishing to air their views on your 'advice'.

The truth hurts, doesn't it?
Obviously now we will know who the branded users/whiners are.

i agree with magicman. you all had a 14 day cooling off period so why do you still have a phone you dont like? I prefer to save up for a couple of months and buy a sim free phone thats as SE intended it to be, rather than be the first one with a new phone to show off to all my friends!

Finally this thread has arrived at its destination, the realm of the rediculous!

Hmmm, whilst the mods are away the swearwords will play....
Whilst I take on board the point that you've paid nothing or next to nothing for a phone that might be roughly as the manufacturer specified, I don't think they should have the right to mess the phone about this much. Perhaps manufactureres should put some kind of copyright on their phone designs, to stop networks doing this to their phones? In a way, these people are paying a lot of money too - they'll be tied to a contract for at least a year, and as this is an expensive phone, it will be an expensive contract they will have to shell out for for the next 12 months.
Reading a lot of the posts about K700 faults, it appears that the networks messing about with the software and putting their own 'customisation' on it has made the phone more unstable and introduced more bugs to it. I wish they would leave the phone well alone and leave it as

intended.
And am I a moaning minnie with some doctored Voda k700? No. I paid £200 and got a sim-free one off Ebay with no silly icons, branding, or interfered with software wise.
