My K700i has a big problem. When I power it up, the display stays white. I hear the startup sound for the O2 firmware, still white...
Still white...
The display just stays white regardless of what I do. The phone still works, but I just have to use it 'blind'. I can make phone calls, but I just hope i've typed the number in right.
Anyone know about these problems?

Can you still play games on your one?
If service center does nothing, ask for a new one!

Yeah I could play games... I wouldn't be able to see anything though.
The best I can get is a CPW in romford... it's a service center one.
Something in the phone rattles... even with the battery out, mabye a connection has come loose.

! Better ask for a replacement dude , looks like the LCD has a defect

. . . 'Hope it is still under warranty . . . if not a firmware upgrade might just do, from the stock to the R2L . . . one . Good luck !

I had a similar problem with my K700i R2A while taking video, i mean the screen stays white for 1-2 sec whenever i switched to video mode. but this bug was resolved after the s/w upgrade. but now i have a new problem...after capturing a video when i playback the clip it breaks into small pixels...not at all smooth...is it a common problem or is a fault of my particular phone s/w? please help.

Take it into CPW with a proof of purchase and they should repair it. I doubt that they will replace it for you, unless it is a serious fault.
