Has anyone else noticed this problem? The speakervolume is rather low when I use the phone. I have set the volume to maximum. Itīs hard to hear the other one. If I use the handsfree the volume is just fine.

sometimes it seems quiet, and other times it seems to be ok for me. Guess it could depend on signal strenth and the network calling you.

I have found that it is actually not the phone that is the problem as such; It's how you hold it up to yous ear.
The speaker on the K700 only lets sound out through the narrow line like. Just by moving the phone a fraction, to let the sound have free access to the ear channel, makes the speaker very good.
Just to demonstrate what I'm trying to say:

Holding the speaker towards point 1 will make the anathomy of the ear work like a "silencer" for the sound whilst point 2 gives the sound free flow.

tranquil: actually not...
It is a bug. Try lowering the volume while calling and then getting it back to maximum. It should be fixed then.

@tranquil - Looks like you have some 'medical' background back there mate . . . Hmmm . . . an EENT (E-yes, E-ars, N-ose, T-hroat) perhaps ! I guess it's a 'bug' then. Have the firmware upgraded if not yet done dude
