> batery life span of k700i

hi guys.
what is your battery life up till now? i've only managed to keep it "alive" for 24 hours.
I use it for 15 mins of calls, 1h grps browsing, 12h bluetooth on (not necessarily using it), 30 min of actual bluetooth use, 1h of java applications, 15 mins of menu browsing, 15 mins of camera use, 15 mins of media use (all these are average times).
I have R2A firmware. Hope this will get better after installing R2L (if it ever reaches Romania!

well on my first day i remember that i had to charge it after 12 hours of using it (note: i charged it for 16 hours) but now after two weeks i can say that the battery lasts for about 3 days with lets say an hour of talks or more a day and some games and if i wait for something about 10-20 minutes of music, oh and bluetooth for about 2 hours a day...

i can just about make it to 2.5 or 3 days on a single charge, with fairly light-moderate usage, now getting better!
I've even bought a spare battery and desktop charger off ebay for £7 for a bit of extra flexibility and time away from a power source

Having the stock R2A firmware . . . Also, that's on an average use ! I do have plans to have the firmware upgraded (R2L...) but I am still awaiting for the shop to have the software near where I live

Well some small calculations say that the use you describe accounts for approx 4hours effective use pr. day + standbytime
K700 has 8hours effective use or 300hour standbytime - measured under best possible conditions.
With your amount of use this would mean approx 1½ - max 2 days
Considering the improvement in battery I gained in R2L - I'd say this is what to expect.

do you know if I can buy a larger capacity one for k700i?
also, probably in the future i will stop playing with it so much as I do now

Well so far I have achieved 72 Hrs in all.(Between Charges)
1) I talked total for 4 Hrs(Includes Incoming and Outgoing.
2) Play tennis game for 10 Min Daily ( 30 Min all)
3) Play MP3 for total time of 45 Min, Once daily. (2 Hrs 25 Min)
4) Set Display to Power Save Mode & Using Waip theme with Eminem Show Wallpaper.
5) Click 10 Snaps on Avg Daily. Record Nothing.
6) Remaining time in Standby, Switch off at 12:30 PM and Switch on at 8:15 AM Daily...
Using BST-30...!
Not bad from what I used to get in The R2A041 version ( 24 hrs)

The other little point I'd like to make is that that nice flap that covers the charging port will surely fall off after a couple of months' charging every other day? Just a rather pedantic point, but just thought I'd make it. The phone would look a bit of a mess without that port cover!
