> Backing up the P800

When I try to back up my P800 the program tells me to manually restart the phone. But when I do so I get some sort of picture with a blinking ! in it. What does this mean? The backup then fails and the only way to take away the blinking ! seems to be to take the battery out.

Do you remove the phone from the docking station to turn the phone on? If so, then don't.

What version of PC Suite are you using? I had similar problems with some of the older versions, dont use the softwares that comes with the phone, download the latest from the SE website....that should work.

I don't remove the phone from the docking station and I've installed the latest version of PC Suite.

That blinking "!" means the phone has crashed, if you hold the power button for 10 seconds it will switch off and you can then switch it on again. Try uninstalling the Pc suite and the cradle then reinstall them again, might work
