Most of us when we bought T68m we used IR-adapters to send files to our T68.... It was only possible to send files via IR by setting the device work at 9600 data tranfer........which it was quite slow.... (Who cares!!!!!!)
Now after upgrading my T68m to MMS I tried increasing the data transfe of my IR..... So I tried setting the device to 19200 ..... !!!!!WORKED!!!!! Then tried 38400 ..... WORKED AGAIN
AND IT IS REALLY FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think that this will work with T68i too!!!!!!
I 'll try setting the IR device to higher than 38400 and do some tests

I've always used 19200,..also before I upgrade my "old" T68m,..and also using it with my T68i,..and yes, it works very well
I'm using a notebook with built-in IR (FIR),..but I believe some of the guys that use IR-adapters,..might not be able to use the FIR (fast version).
That was the problem for some,..they had to set the speed to 9600, or else it would crash.
I never had those problems,..might be because its a built-in IR,..I dont know really ?
But yes,..it does work quite good and fast too

SIR (normal, old fashioned ir) supports 115,2 kb/s. FIR (fast ir) supports 4 Mb/s. I have always used my SIR adapter at 115,2 kb/s with no hassle.

Those of you that are still having trouble getting a reliable connection should try these settings in your bios, if it will allow you to alter them. I went through every combination possible with terrible results, but the second I hit on these it works perfectly even at 115k
