The thing that's bugged my since the doe eyed P900 flashed it's eye lashes at me is the need for a charger on the cradle. So tonight I decided it's time to 'get it's clothes off'! The most time consuming part of the whole exercise was finding my mutlimeter (to find 5V on USB bus) and then finding a 9V battery for my mutlimeter.

You need:
Small Phillip screw driver
Soldering iron with solder
Wire (Take the side off your PC there loads of unused wire for powering LEDs, speaker etc)

Remove the base (screws under 3 of the 5 plastice feet)

Remove the circuit board and solder a wire from the Red USB wire to the closest post of the mains input.

Job done

Mr Mince

@mince-inside

Will you show us how to make a Barbie doll house out of a ceareal packet, a washing-up liquid bottle, a wire coat hanger and some sticky back plastic next week?

@mince-inside

I feel that there hasn't been enough techno-babble in this thread yet.

@scotsboyuk, that'll have to wait 'til the morning I guess when the 'Mecons' are awake and surfing at work - not that its a wrong thing to surf at work whilst you wait on numbers crunching etc. Ooops or to be a Mecon, most of my.... no that would be a lie
