> Port 8080:closed?

I have a p8 with an old genie sim and since o2 started charging for gprs I have been using port 8080. Everything was fine until sunday, now I cant login anymore. I get one of 2 error msgs : "Activation Rejected" or "Error with your proxy settings, please check settings" Has anyone else been having problems or could o2 have barred access to unauthorized users?

I don't use O2 but port 8080 is the usual proxy server port - what do other O2 peeps have set as their proxy for GPRS?

They're having problems with it & I've also been struggling to connect recently but it does still work.......here I am to prove it & it's still not charging me
If u use the normal port it won't seem to connect at all but 8080 still can.....sometimes!

8080 still works for me. O2 gprs was just really bad over the weekend. Sometimes port 80 works as well.
