Last week I made a Tracker 4 skin for my P900.
Before I used Tracker the three things that
used a lot of battery-life are: Unreal Player,
Games and I guess my BT that is always on.
When I do the same things now (with Tracker 4 on),
playing games while listening to music and sometimes
a BT device scan with Sman 1.3 my battery-life goes
down very very quickly.
Yesterday it went from 44% to 25% in about half a hour
time, I was sitting in a train, listening music, playing
games and did a few BT scans.
When I closed Tracker the battery-life still went down,
but a lot less quickly. So is my battery going bad (doesn't
matter a lot, a collegaue of mine gave me a new sealed battery
for my P900, so I got a spare one

), or does Tracker uses
a lot of battery-life, especially when doing other things with
the phone at the same time?
And how can I get the best "life" for my (new) battery? I heard that
I have to charge it for 14 hours the 1st time, and then recharge it
when it's complete empty?

Molski

Its not your battery, i was playin a game while listening music (oggplay) the other night, when i start my battery was in 95% 30mins later it was is 82%. I was so amazed but i think my battery is fine, it last about 4-5 days without too much use.

some programs do not exit automatically, this shortens batterty life as the application is always running, there are lots of programs available which will shut all programs down, the best one i have found is a program called "file manager" this is available from my-symbian.com. i am quite sure it is also freeware (free)

I use Sman 1.3 and/or the buttons I made in my Tracker skin to close applications and Free Memory.
