How many text messages can the T68 or T68i store in it's memory? Also, is there any way to view "animated" TEXT-picture messages, like the way you can on any Nokia phone.

I used the T68 to read a text message and when I pressed the joy stick down, the message just scrolled down one line at a time. How do you scroll down one page at a time so that "animated" TEXT-picture messages can be read?

Thanks for the reply mate. That's half of my problem solved. I don't have the T68 with me right now, but is it possible to view animated text messages?

I hope you guys know what I'm talking about. With Nokia phones you can make "pictures" using normal characters, for example:

Code:
(0) (0)
0
\____/

Now if you scrolled down the screen on your mobile, you can make this little face do different things!

That is what I mean. Can you do the same with T68/T68i? I think the font is different in T68 and so the charaters don't line up the way they do with Nokia phones.

Yes, I know what your talking about, as my GF has one of those crappy NOKIA's (Yes, I'm trying to get her another phone)

You can do those images, but it doesn't look as good on the T68's or T39's, or for that matter, any new phones.

And making it scroll down is not really possible unless you know what text size the user is using and you’d have to use some trickery to get it right, but it's really pointless when you have EMS.

Yeah I know that SMS text messages are nothing compared to EMS or MMS for that matter, but the thing is that most of my mates are "poor" and dont have the latest phones with EMS features.

The problem is not sending the texts. The problem is receiving those cheap kinds of texts cos you can't view them properly.

I get so many of those messages sent to me so I guess I have to keep a crapy Nokia with me as well to view them.

BTW, how many text messages can a T68 or T68i store in it's memory?

T68 stores 40 on the phone and 10 on SIM
T68i stores approx 70 on phone and 10 on SIM

there is a way to view those Nokia txts, search the forum for it, I think it involves using the large text size setting and then scrolling page at a time

Even with the largest text size it's not as clear as the Nokia's I think the poblem is in the font used...
Any ways for all the options I have in my T68m>i I don't mind, but remember that we can receive the Nokia pictures, but I hope they do something about forwarding them.......
Shouldn't we include this in the Update wishlist???????

I also have the same problem. Why is it that the texts with drawings that i receive cannot be forwarded? The Forward option is not highlighted. Does anyone know the reason?

Thanks!

it has a dynamic memory. so when you got a lot memory left, you should get a lot of memory for sms too. This message was posted from a WAP device
