For the K700 u want java games, which have file extension of .jar.

Quite simply send the .jar file to the phone over Bluetooth or InfraRed for example (or u could d/load games from WAP) and the phone will do the rest!

You dont need to open the file in winrar/winzip just sent the whole rar/zip file to your k700!

Seems it wasn't actually a compressed ZIP file just a java file given the .zip extension for download.
You could also just change that back to .jar if u wished by renaming it so (if u have file extensions visible on ur PC)

interestingly, .jar files are actually zip files with special properties to allow for application signing and other features not normally found in standard zip files

any jar file can be opened with winzip

I believe the phone just looks for the standard file header information to know that its a java application

Interesting indeed. I never knew that but at least if u name it .jar it doesn't show as a zipped folder icon on the PC (not that that matters at all )
