I totally disagree. Lithium batteries do not like to be fully discharged and it reduces their performance and life expectancy

I have read this many times on technical battery sites including, for example, this BatteryUniversity article

I always see to it that I got all my spare batts fully charged, just in case of emergency, and will have to full-drain them again before re-charging it to the max . . . !
