Hi all,
I have moved to Mac OS X (from Win XP), and I want to transfer large files (MP3s etc.) to the P900 via bluetooth, as the cradle doesn't work with Macs.
However, using file transfer, I only have access to one directory on the P900 (the beamed files folder I guess), which is on the internal memory and is not big enough to take an mp3.
Can I change the default beamed folder to be on the Memory Stick? Or does anyone know another option?
Also, on Win XP I could get the internet on my P900 through the laptop broadband connection using Opera. Again is this possible on OS X? I haven't got it working yet, but then I've become a novice again

Yes this post is a bit old but I think it's worthwile following up old unanswered questions, especially after so many people suggest searching which only comes up with unanwered questions...
As far as I am aware, there is no way to change the folder which the phone "defaultly" places received files in.
On a PC, this limitation is overcome by the sony ericsson software which (more or less) allows you direct access to the media folders on your Px00 (such as audio, documents, image, video and other) even via bluetooth. Unfortunately I don't think that sony make an osx compatible version of their software, perhaps a third party utility may be compatible?
