> Sweden abomination towards mobile telephony
Bookmark topic
According to the Finnish news agency STT Friday - based on a research of the Swedish company of mobile telephony TeliaSonera - the Finns, Norwegians and Danes send more written messages and speak more in their mobile than their neighbours in Sweden.
More analytically, the research showed that the population that have a good "relationship" with the mobile telephony are the Finns, who regularly use their mobiles more than they use their landlines. Thus, they speak on an average rate of 249 minutes monthly in their mobile, while the Swedes limit theirselves hardly to 130 minutes per month. Simultaneously, the Norwegians send most SMS from all, reaching on an average rate of 76 SMS per month, while the Swedes are once again in the last place with 17 messages per month.
Giving a explanation for this... abomination of the Swedes towards mobile telephones, the Director in Marketing of TeliaSonera, Terje Christofferssen, declared that in Sweden a lot of multinational companies focus in the benefit of services in the space of constant telephony and, at the same time pointed out that the use of mobiles in Sweden is more expensive than in the remainder scandinavian countries.

Thats logical. If its more expensive, ppl would prefer landline. The operators should offer better prices then.
