> Old phone - new phone: contacts on sim
Bookmark topic
Most of the newer phones have more contact data (name, home nr, mobile nr, e-mail) than the old (name, nr). What happens if you save contacts on the new phone and put the sim in an older phone? Are the different numbers shown as different ontacts? Do you lose some? Can you save those "extended" contacts on your sim?

Next to home nr u ll see /W, mob nr /M etc. If u put it in another se fone, the nrs will be auto stored to the right position.

The old phone will read the sim info, but you don't have that extended information and the phone creates a new contact for it. It happened to me when uploading my T610 contacts on my old T200...
