> K700i call delay

Hello, I've read the K700i formware overview, and haven't seen anyone with this problem. When I choose to call someone, there is like a 2 second delay, and then the phone makes the call. Is this normal or is it another bug? (I have R2L)

I'm in Turkey, and using Turkcell, I called SE and they said that this was how it normally works, is this the case in your phone:
I press the call button, 2 seconds pass, and then the screen with caling appears.

@ aydahm: Yeah, the same works my K700i, and I am on Swisscom in Switzerland. So I think it is not a network problem, but also not a K700i problem. This delay seems to be normal. And it doesn't disturb me at all.

i can live with the 2 sec delay when making a call, but the delay when answering is a pain in the ***. Though after using the phone for a couple of months you tend to get used to it, and don't end up having to say hello twice.

I looked at how a T68i does the calls, and the same delay is present on the T68i as well. But I think the T610 didn't have it, that's why, after using T610 for more than a year, I was a bit annoyed with this delay.

Looks like it's better off to have the stock - R2A . . . firmware after all, after hearing/reading negative comments about the R2L . . . firmware update . . . I just haven't upgraded mine, and the only setback for now is the battery life performance

@JN: I agree, I will stay at R2a for the same reasons... my phone works very fine with it, and the short battery live doesn't bug me very much. I don't want to risk a worse firmware than I have at the moment...
