I have been using the t610 since august, and since then, i have missed more calls, than i did in the 3 nd half years i had my nokia 3310! The ring vvolume is so quiet on all the ringtones apart from digirain. Which is primitive. Any ideas how to turn it up? bearing in mind that the ring volume is set to full. It is worse with downloaded ringtones, which are hardly audible when in trouser pockets! Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers, Stu

its just the way the t610 is. no way of changing it to make it louder. it was one of the main complaints about that phone on this forum since it arrived last summer

this was a complaint that was posted on esato repetitively when it first came out and for months after.

I think most people simply either made their ringtones louder or found ringtones louder than those supplied in the phone

you should be able to find plenty of threads with links to loud ringtones and help on how to make yours louder

Yeah its a common complaint, i dont really know if theres much you can do about it. Having said that, the same ringtone on the p800 and the p900 sounds a lot louder on the p900, maybe is just the design.

Sell it and get another phone. Probably not what you wanted to hear, but that's what I did when I got my T616. I only had the T616 for about a month and switched to the Z600. Having an independent speaker for the ringtones is great.

Well, they're not that loud, but you can get very loud ringtones from the net, and you can also download a midi program so you can make ringtones you like louder, I did that and now the problem is gone, no more missed calls...

you don't need a special one, with that you should be fine. BTW, don't make them too loud, try to experiment with different leves or you will have just distorted noises on your phone, good luck!!!
