when i send a video to my laptop i cant play it once i have received it. How do i use the appropriate programme so that i can play it?

i just tried to open it with quicktime and it said that it was not a file that quicktime recognised, what do i do now?

what format is it then, quicktime should be able to play .3gp. Try using mpegable then, from here
Mpegable

get the demo version of mpegable 4x live as it comes with a player as well.

do you mean convert to .3gp? If so use the mpegable software that i posted the link to. Only problem is on the free version it will say dicas in the top right of the video.
