I hope that the Nokia Company made some canvass of the country's political landscape before venturing into one! It has been rumored time and again that Osama Bin Laden hides in Pakistan's mountainous outskirts . . . not to mention that it's military-President Musharraf reportedly will be toppled in a couple of year's time! There has been an assassination attempt on him some time back . ..

Speaking of Osama . . . have you seen McDonald's latest burger release in honor of the fugitive ?

Mmmmm . . . makes me hungry here !

Good! He can them takeover the nokia factory there. Even he can make better fones than nokia currently does. Seriously though nokia would have been better off setting up a factory in south east Asia or china. This message was posted from a T610

Obviously nokia has made an assesment of the country otherwise they would'nt be investing $300 million dollars there!...As far as osama is concerned he is the most wanted man on the planet and will get caught at some point!...And the President Musharaf is a decent man and excellent leader...Without him America would'nt have caught most of the Al-qaida terrorists hideing out in pakistan..Musharaf is doing more for the war on terror than any other leader in asia...the only people who are trying to assasinate him are Al-qaida sympathisers.
Nokia is not the only multinational to start production in pakistan other companys like BMW have been manufacturing there for years..The way i see it Pakistan is as good manufacturing place as china or any other south asian country.
