Hi there-
I have problems synchronizing by Ir with my T68i. I have downloaded the latest sync soft from SonyEricsson website. I have Windows 2000 professional, Outlook, the latest Ir update as posted on this forum, and the soft on my phone is RA014.
The synchronization stops at about 25 or 55 contacts (I have +240) with an error saying the "empworker.exe has created some errors...". I called SonyEricsson support line and the person told me that I'm not the first to report this error and that they have no solution for it, but will report to Sweeden anyway.
By the way, I'm having no success either with sending fax by the phone as modem (and using the Fax utility in Word printing) or SMS with the SonyEricsson software (using the RA4Package 4 found on
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=3497&forum=17).
Do you have any idea to make all this work?
Thanks.

it could be your Ir communication. Set it to SIR (serial infrared) if possible. There are many topics in the technical section about Ir problems and some solutions.

btw fax requires a special fax subscription by your provider

You're right about fax: I need a subscription from my operator. So this is solved.
Do you have an idea how to make writing and sending SMS through the SonyEricsson software by IR work?

I found the SE software to be very tempramental. It some time reads the phone and sometimes doesn't. Most of the tiime it does, but it keeps d/c so i cannot send messages through it!
