> Synchronising from Phone to Outlook
Bookmark topic
Hi everyone,
After a year or two as a stealth user this is my first post.
I've had K700i for a couple of months now (having previously owned a T610, T68i and T68) but am struggling with the new Sync Station software.
Has anyone else found that any new contacts added to the phone do not upload to Outlook during a "normal" synchronisation? The only way I can get it to do this is by forcing a full synchronisation each time but then I end up getting a few duplicate entries that I need to tidy up.
If I add any new contacts to Outlook they will be synchronised to the phone no problem.
If I change any existing contacts on the phone or in Outlook they will also be synchronised.
It's only new contacts on the phone that will not be added to Outlook.
I have even gone back to using XTNDConnect (which to be honest I think I prefer anyway) but it STILL won't upload contacts from the phone to Outlook during a normal synchronisation.
Again, contacts added to Outlook do get copied to the phone without any problems.
Any thoughts? Sorry if this has been covered before, I did try searching but wasn't able to find anything.
Cheers,
Andy

unfortunately yes, mine does the same
even worse: sometimes sync decides to
delete contacts from the PC
It was usually after attaching a photo to a person on the phone: after that, sometimes it disappeared in Outlook 2003
after unattaching the photo, a new sync revealed it again, and after this I could reattach the photo again
weird...
the phone currently has the first release of software, and the PC is a notebook without any special programs, just the plain XP bluetooth connection

Hi guys. I am having exactly the same problem. Whatever I add on the phone does not go to Outlook and whatever I update on the phone is deleted in Outlook. Have been corresponding with SonyEricsson support but so far has been crap. Did you find a solution or did you throw your phone into a toilet? Thanks.
