hiya all..........wonder if any1 can help.........ive got a k700i from 02 but cant seem to get delivery reports even when this is switched on.02 tell me that i have to type in star,zero,hash to activate it? ive tried this and it says command error.......any know how this is done?

I don't know how it works with 02 but here in Croatia if you put ! before writing SMS you wil get delivery report (On VIP network). So maybe they meant *0# before writing a mesage. Of course it works normally if you turn it on in Messaging>Settings>Text Message>Delivery Report>On.

hi yeah it has the more on the right.................i think its a money making scheme from o2.............when u buy a phone anywhere else its just a case of switching it on with 02 if you buy online like i did to phone there customer services cost u 50pence per min so i think they have made it so u have to phone them to activate it or give u advice as how to activate it as to collect all them lovely 50 p's

yeah just phoned them again at 50pence a min...........02 doesnt support delivery reports for there online contract customers so u have to type*0# before every tex .........and with there 500 texs per month bit of a pain but hey

I recieve my K700i from O2 online last week and it was already turned on I believe.
Seems to work on my one.

yeah as you have already discovered just type *0# then a space (space is very important!)
on the K700i it is very handy as if you forget to input it and you have already written the message, instead of searching thru for the symbols just press more, add item, thennear the bottom 'template'.
o2 do not support the 'delivery feature' from any of the phone i have had on any of their tariff. i have had, o2 Online contract, o2 PAYG, o2 PAYG highstreet, o2 contract highstreet. so its nothing to do with them being greedy with their 50p per minute call line. that 50p per minute call line is their call they give you so many free text and WAP mintes for free and need to make their money back some way!! If you dont wanna use the 50p line email them for FREE

you should not put a space after the *0# also make sure delivery reports on the phone is turned off.
