I've read on these forums that the UK Network - O2 provides K700i with little branding

is this true? i.e. are shortcuts / 'MORE' enabled?
is it less branded than Orange?

Thanks for your help

O2 has branded phone in much smaller amount than anyone else if I am right. Just 2 icons and a theme. Correct me if I am wrong...

Take care

And more is enabled... shortcuts work normally... but check some threads there is plenty about it...

In my branded O2 K700 is the following:

- O2 Theme which can be changed but not deleted
- O2 Screensaver which can be changed/turned off but not deleted
- O2 Power Off screen which can only be deleted
- O2 Start Up screen which can turned off but not deleted
- The top left icon on the desktop is an O2 logo and can't be changed
- Top menu item under 'Connectivity' is 'O2 > Get Settings' which sends an unknown message somewhere but seems to do nothing
- No branding on the phone itself

In normal use, after changing the theme/screensaver the only thing that shows its an O2 phonem is the icon on the desktop, and when you power on/off the phone.

Everything else is as it should be, except 'My friends' is removed because O2 don't support it. (Don't know of any UK networks who do?)

I've kept my O2 theme on my K700i as I believe it goes quite well with the phone.

does anyone know if o2 have ever changed the quickshare sticker (like voda and orange have)? i have a o2 k700i, well hardly the only branding i got with it was the o2 menu in connectivity that sends a sms to "get settings" (but as far as i know it does'nt do anything).

No o2 theme, start up, icon on desktop. Nothing but the get o2 settings menu on my o2 "branded" k700i.
