Is there a way to speed up T610 or optimize it besides free mem and updated firmware... like in pc defrag.

Try with a mediun theme (no more than 75kb) and leave 600kb of free memory, it worked for me...

Same here, constantly at 6 or 7 k mem free gives optimal speed and effective performance.

I use always traditional - 7kb - the fone is really fast. U can download it from wapchimp's wap site.

@KiMcHeEbOi, I know is kind of hard to clean memory, specially when you have lots of pics, games, themes, ringtones, etc.
I just try to keep out of the phone all stuff that I don't really need, or are not being used too much, so I just backup them to my pc, and later when I need them just send them back to the phone.
