ive been given a good price on a p800 dummy.. can i use this as cover on my fullfunctional, but worn out p800?

Probably not, the dummys are usually made of crap plastic and are almost always glued shut.

It should work, as long as you get a decent one. I did it with a T610.
Try and get a phone from ebay that doesnt work, you should be able to get one cheap...or you will have to buy a new cover.

I don't think that the dummy will fit your p8, I've seen dummies from T610 and T300 and they're pure plastic, try e-bay....

i allready have a screwdriver.. once tried to open p800 to fit a transparency on the screen.. btw it works excellent as screen protector.. and much cheaper
