Between me and my family and friends we've got 5 T610 phones. Seems like it would make sense to buy whatever we need to update our own firmware instead of using a service center. Is that possible, and if so what do we need?

what you need is a terminator dongle, found
here and DIV 8.4, but it often comes with the Dongle+ you also need the right flash files, but these should be included on the Dongles you buy from ebay
