just a quick question,

are you meant to turn the p900 off before removing or inserting the memory stick, and will it damage the phone/stick if you do it whilst the phone is on?

also, can anyone recommend an altenative mp3 player to the standard p900, that is better?

cheers

the memory sticks are hot swappable. i.e. you can change them without turning the phone off

In some rare cases, if you hoswap the memory stick, you're going to tear a hole into the fabric of time and space, creating a huge explosion and distroy pretty much all of the gallaxy (not!)

however, if you have an application running that is loaded onto the ms you must shut it down before removing and are not able to use it anymore until you insert that ms back into the phone.
