This is a very simple one. Searched the site, and my manuals, although couldn't find out how to set up MMS.. do I have to ring O2 and get them to activate GPRS or something? Oh btw it's a K700i on contract.
Thanks.

is it a new contract? if so then the MMS /GPRS should be already set up.
if you dont have the settings, get them sent to your mobile via this link below.

hmm yeah, very new contract, like a couple of days ago. Online 100.
I have been sent those settings via txt. although it says, when I try and send an MMS: "Sending failed service not available, Retry?"
Is this a bug? btw I have basically full signal...

btw o2 OTA settings arent on the site yet for k700i
Have you tried going on GPRS does it connect?
You could send o2 an email...its free of charge and they usually reply very quickly (actually they told me to change the port to 9201 in an inquiry and it couldn go online..changed it back to 8080...). My friend had a problem with her phone and she said that it had to be enabled..but that was a pay and go sim...I have o2 contract but haven't tried the mms yet it aint free so i don't bother

However it can go online..

Use the T630 settings they worked for me on PAYG wap. I imagine they'll do the same for contract but I can't check as my contract is old Genie sim.

For future reference:
The second time I rang up (the first time I went through a big sequence to no avail) they told me the system had me on the wrong contract and didn't have my MMS enabled.. hm So apparently it will be working tomorrow morning.
O2 are getting on my nerves.
