> K700 Alarm Signal Volume - Too Loud!

Hi Guys,
Since I upgraded to the latest firmware available in Australia(R2L001), the K700 alarm signal become really loud. I tried many midis, it sounds ok when in playback mode, but when I use it as an alarm signal, it becomes really loud, so loud that the speaker cannot even handle! Does anyone else have the same issue?
I read on this forum that the alarm signal volume is the same as the phone's volume during a conversation. So does this mean that I can only adjust the alarm's volume while I am talking to somebody over the phone? This just sounds so stupid.

my r2a and the are the same in volume output level like for instant if u use a monophonic tones it is louder the a poly cas mono consist of one sound and it has no smooth ness to it with a poly they have to play so many other sounds that the ringtone its self has to be low because if it wasent low then u wouden here the low pitch sounds to make it a full poly. thats why i noticed that my t226 with 32 poly it is loud as hell but my k700 has 40 and it is loud but not as loud as my t226 so more polys more softness less then it will be loud. DO AN EXPERAMENT take a t68i and compare but lay then down and walk away u will see who is loud or get somes phone like a t310 and get a tone off of it then try to find the same tone but from off of a 40 then put them on the phone u will see the difference
