I have tried a search and can't seem to find this problem. When I push the button to answer an incoming call, in automatically puts the call on hold and I have to retrieve it again. Any reasons why it would do this?

Second question, can I upgrade the firmware on my T610 myself without any cables, or do I need to take it in some where?

Thanks for the help!

Puts ur 1st call on hold cuz u cant talk to 2 ppl at the same time! That's why it's called 'on hold'. To upgrade u have to use cable or take it to a service. This message was posted from a T610

Check your phone's answering mode.

701-This is an initial call. I am not trying to talk to two people.

GOwin- I have checked my answering modes. Answering mode is set to normal and handsfree type is set to automatic.

bobafett- I thought about that too. I have been very careful about pushing the button only once.

Any other suggestions out there? Could there be something wrong with my phone? I would appreciate any help.

Thanks

All I can think of is a knacked button/dimple switch - do you know anyone with the same phone and swap sim?

No. I'm the only one with a T610. Everyone else has a Nokia.

Thanks

Apologies for my lack of knowledge on this phone but, can it be set so 'any key' will answer incoming calls - this will take the answer button out of the equation.

I will give that a try and see what happens. Thanks for the information!
