I bought a T610 - spiderman edition - about 2 months back and just yesterday - it started behaving funnily - first the display started blinking and then the display went completely blank. I have a wallpaper and could not see it. Removed the battery and tried to restart the phone - it would not restart - there was no action on pushing the on/off button - then I plugged in the charger and the phone started charging - this time the phone came on when I pressed the on/off button. Subsequently - the screen was on and th phone was ok - but for some time - after which the screen went blank again.

This has been going on. If i switch of the phone then i have to put in the charger to restart the phone even thought hte battery is almost fully charged.

Help/////

While the phone is on do a full master reset, i.e. Reset all. This message was posted from a T610

Hi, this most probably seems to be a faulty battery...change it and see if the problem persists or not This message was posted from a T230

I had a similar experience once,i had done the same the thing as you did. But it never occured again. Try removing batt and insert it after some time,if the prob occurs again, best thing is to take to the service center This message was posted from a T610

But before troubling yourself you could always try a reset. At most your settings and data will go. You can backup them This message was posted from a T610

Could it be Firmware trouble?

Master reset, if that fails, take it to a service centre, get a new battery and have it flashed with the latest firmware. That should help. (What it took 6 people to say, in one post!)
