I have used the Motorola E398 and its seems to have everything that the P900 has. It has an MP3 player, comes pre-loaded with a 64MB Scan disk memory card (some kind of mini card), has a good organizer/calendar, comes at *1/3rd* the cost of a P900, has USB-PC support, MP3 ringtone support, video player, GPRS, Bluetooth, a *BETTER* VGA camera (its crystal clear - see it to believe it), a great build quality (again, see it to believe it), it smaller than the P900 etc etc etc....

The only thing that (obviously) is not there is the touch screen, handwriting recog.

I have always believed that Motorola comes out with Handsets which are cheaper, but have the best of features. The E398 is one of them. I still like the P900, but looking at the price SE charges, the E398 beats it in every possible way. The only complaint I used to have against Motorola is the flimsy panels, very scarce PC-TO-MOBILE support, difficult to find accessories, slow processors. But looks like the E398 will make other mobiles bite dust.

Maybe I will go in for the E398 soon. You got to hold it in your hands to believe me. And I simply love its "Black" screens! .. They are so cool...

Just to make sure SE understands that its charging too much for features that are not that costly to produce in reality.

And dont you think its annoying not to have more external memory support (and on top of that limiting it to 128MB), not to have a good CAM, not to have a strong body frame (which keeps cracking if someone closes the flip a bit too fast), not to have a faster USB-TO-PC transfer speed (forcing people to do all sort of things from buying BT to card writers etc), not to have enough internal memory, not to have frequent s/w updates, not to have the standard slot for headphones (again making people buy converters to make use of their favourate headphones), not to have memory stick duo greater than 128MB ......

For god-sake, a P900 must justify its cost. I would only be convinced if someone else cannot produce the same features without increasing the cost, but I dont see that happening.

Well, I have nothing against SE and I own a P900, but if you look at the cost (and I bet 99% of P900 owners did feel the pinch when they invested in one), its exorbitant...

Well maybe you are right, the E398 probably cant install APPS, is probably not a Symbian phone, but thats no reason *not* to compare phones ...

I still believe that if you take the E398 in your hands, atleast some of you will agree with me. I am again saying I still love my P900 but the cost still makes me sick. And looking at what SE is charging for the P910, I am already getting irritated.

er..., see in your dirst post you mentioned mp3 player, memory cards etc. p900 does all that and it has a touch screen! Pchah!
