I just dont know how to view the number of stored text messages in my k700i!! sounds like such a newbie question too!
I've had it ages n ages n i've never managed to find the menu lol...the only time i've seen the screen is when the phone is full n it asks to delete some messages and then u can view it all...so i know the screen exists!

PS i'm on R2A (shame on me) incase that matters

Help!

file manager, more, memory status. Messages is the last item on the list
click on Messages for a break down of messages in inbox, email, sent etc etc

oh poo this is scaring me...is my phone weird? lol.....its unbranded, got it from dubai a couple of months ago but i have my friends :|....never quite worked out the point of that lol....i think i'll just fill my phone memory up until theres no more space for txts and then it'll show me the screen on its own....it was only out of curiosity to see how many txts i had anyway, wasnt important

Slightly off topic, but one thing i have found out with the texts on the k700, is that there is no 10% memory warning like there was on the t610. This has no doubt been mentioned before, but it is a real pain, as you don't know when the phones memory is becoming full, until it is completly full. So you can't clear out memory in adavnce. Also the phone seems to hold a random number of texts, sometimes it will hold 85, other times it wil be full at around 70.

Are you sure they aren't long messages?
