Welcome to Esato
while I do welcome you I also suggest that you familarise yourself with some of the recent posts as there have been quite a few regarding vodafone branding on K700 and firmware updates.
in summary, R2L is not available on any branded firmware yet and it will be quite a while before it as, as is the norm, because the phone companies take there time releasing updates

The latest firmware accepted by Vodafone is R2N. It has the same fixes as the R2L non branded version.

Really? I've not heard of this? Will the Carphone warehouse upgrade it for me?

well thats good news as no one else has reported that, thanks!
If you have the full firmware designation (i.e. the full 6 characters R2Nxxx) I'll add that to the

This is any interesting News. I wonder if the vodafone shops have this or as you say any carphone warehouse.

This version should be available on EMMA II. It was released about 2 weeks ago. It's available for both K700 and F500.

Went into Vodafone Shop today, they dont even understand what firmware updating is,So i went on over to CPW and they said they cant do it there, i'd either have to go to nottingham or post it to SE. But as its a voda i dont think i can get it updated anywhere.. unless the R2N is correct...
