> k500i SUCKS big time cos of memory

ok, i thought, k700 a bit too pricy, ill get a k500i . I checked the specs, cool, an mp3 player. But no FM radio, which i am sure is not a hard feature to install on a phone but sure is useful.
But if i remember rightly an mp3 is about 3mb for a 3-1/2 minute long tune, so that means i can have 2 MP3S WOW!!! Plus a few pics and a few ringtones AND THATS IT!!!! Coooooo ive always wanted a phone that takes about 1 second videos because of the freakin memory
amazing phone but CRAP memory.

I am not sure u know the mp3 player is intended for ringtones,not for music. It's a scaled down memory, that's why is cheaper. Why r u so shocked? Read some reviews b4.

"it may decieve some people" why there is a mp3 player right !? .. im sure they donīt say it's for filling upp whit 1000 and 1000:end of mp3 songs ...... itīs there so you can have a mp3 ring tone and thats just about 500kb and you can have a cool mp3 ring tone

dont you get it! having an mp3 player HINTS that you can put mp3 tracks onto the phone but with the limited memory it is pointless. I dont care about mp3 ringtones! Rather than saying, an mp3 player, you can say short mp3s can be used as ringtones. All i am saying is a phone that can take videos, pictures, has java, 3d gaming and mp3 ringtones SHOULD have more than 12mb!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mp3 is for ringtones man, are you saying that motorola are bastards because they gave only 6 mb of memory to v 600 and has an mp3?
would you be more happy if they deleted mp3 ringtones so that people won't get confused? sheesh, i doesn't even have bt so how in the world would you transfer music to it? and don't say ir because i really doubt anyone would do that considering the speed......
really i don't understand you.... you are sad because se used the new and way better menus and the same media player and you don't like it because it's too much advance for a phone like this?
man i think you are going to be sad for a little while because i don't see budget phones with memory cards around the corner yet...
hey i have an idea, why doesn't se delete all the "extra" features such as games,mp4,mp3,themes, pics because it doesn't have enough memory to store 1000 of them? i'm a little sarcastic but really it's a budget phone and i was thrilled by the fact that you can use mp3 ringtones and heck even have a favorite song but i guess all people can't be pleased.....
oh and btw check the rivals in this class and tell me if they have more memory.....

i wouldn't even use the P910 as an MP-3 player.

i think vanquish raised a good point. yes the k500 mite be the best in its league but......the memory is not good enough for the phone features. i mean you wouldnt expect a phone with lets say...3.2 mp to have like 24mb becuz the memory would fill up too quickly with those large size images. i'm not sayin that having the mp3 player is a bad feature or that it should be removed from the phone. its just that they couldnt use it to its full-ist. perhaps they could have swapped the feature with bluetooth dont know if that would be a good idea though
