I'm currently on O2 200 anytime with 50 txts and its due to run out 19th of Sept.My dilemma is that i'm being told i'll have to pay a stupid ammount for a k700. £100 to upgrade.However I can cancel my contract and start a new one with a FREE K700!!
Am i right in assuming that O2 have now stopped their free gprs?
Cos , if i'm right, and the reason why i dont wanna cancel my contract, is because i seem to have never paid for my usage. i initially paid for "wap surfer" with 2mb inclusive gprs, and to be charged for any extra usage (which i never have been). do i lose my free gprs and get a free phone ? or get a new contract. ( i want one with good gprs costs)

O2 have stopped the free GPRS. Phone O2 when your contract is up and tell them that you are willing to go to another network as they will give you the phone for free on a new contract. This has always worked for me, they normally chuck in some free line rental for me as well.

i phoned then today jc. i'm thru carphone warehouse and the guy and the other end sounded one step away from an amoeba! i think it is because i'm thru CPW with my contract that i cant get a free handset. they said i could get a discount, but i'm not finished yet! i'll phone O2 tomorrow see if they can do anything. thanks for the reply
