i've done a search but cant find my answer!

is there a way to get the phone recased.. i'm so gutted

i know its quite common, but i'm so p1ssed off at it! such an expensive phone, and they have used appalling materials to put it together.. the paint rubs off the edges where it rubs your pocket, and the surrounds crack!

what can i do? and what has everyone else done where this has happened to them?

also, while i'm here, can you get a flip for the P910 and use it on your P900?

go to a service center the'll replace the casing (not free) or u can go to ebay and buy funky coloured ones heheeh i like the red p900 casing on ebay

It happened to me, i got a new case off ebay.

You cant use the p910 flip as it has different connectors, which is a shame.

although, i did buy a new fascia for my Nokia 7650 and it looked realy cool in black, however it was really bad quality, the paint came off really easily!

how good are the ones on ebay? i'm looking at this one in particular - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBay[....]ory=68039&item=6321431166&rd=1

although i suppose by the time it wears out again, i can simply buy another

I havent seen that one before! Looks v.cool though! I just bought the standard replacement, but i wish i had seen that one! I fancy a white or a blue one. At that price, it wont hurt to find out about the quality.

also, is there a step by step guide on how to open up a P900? i'm sure i can do it easily, but i'd prefer not to make any mistakes doing it myself

I just got it off ebay, there are a couple of threads on removing the case, simply use the search function and it will take you to the info you need.

thanks mate.. out of interest, how long has yours lasted? and how does the quality fair against the oem cover? also, is yours a genuine SE cover?
